Michael B. Scott, MD, FACS, FICS was born in Guyana.  He graduated from Northwestern University Medical School and is a Board Certified Urologist.  Dr. Scott looks forward to visiting Guyana every year where he performs surgeries at the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital.  In addition Dr. Scott’s special interests include archeology, with focus on Ancient Egypt, poetry, playwriting and his service as President with the Guyana Medical Relief since 1984.
